Ministry, on the water and across ten conferences.
A congregation in Bolinao, a discipleship group in Anda, and communications ministry that reaches every Annual Conference in the Baguio Episcopal Area.
Pilar United Methodist Church
Every week starts with the boat ride to Sunday worship. Ministry here is unhurried and personal – planning liturgy, writing pastoral prayers, leading Bible studies and fellowship series, and walking with families through weddings, vehicle dedications, and lamay (wake) services. I build the same care into the practical things: worship slides sized for the sanctuary’s TV, a lectionary calendar the whole congregation can follow, sermons written first for the people in front of me.
The Dolaoan Covenant Discipleship Group
A few barangays over, in Dolaoan, Anda, I help lead youth formation alongside the SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) and KK (Katipunan ng Kabataan). Years with that community have meant solicitation letters, activity reports, contest mechanics, and the social media content that keeps young leaders engaged between events – and a discipleship group built for the long haul, not just a season.
